Dalke Design Group gave this Flagstaff medical office building a material palette that earns attention on a corridor where most commercial construction doesn’t try. Split Face and Ground Face CMU run across the facade in four colors — Ebony, Bark, Doeskin, and Pebble Beach — shifting between dark pilasters and warmer field tones in a composition that reads as considered rather than busy. The two-texture strategy lets the color do the design work without overcomplicating the wall assembly. Wespac and Integrated Masonry delivered a clean installation across a building type where masonry this deliberate is rarely attempted.
