The Prescott Regional Airport terminal is a civic building that earns its place in the landscape. DWL Architects specified Ground Face Terra Cotta CMU across the exterior — a speckled aggregate finish that mirrors the exposed granite of the Bradshaw Mountains visible from the tarmac. The masonry reads almost like stone from a distance while maintaining the crisp coursing lines that only CMU delivers at scale. Bold red steel canopies and exposed timber frame the entry, but the CMU shell carries the building’s identity. Willmeng Construction and G & G Masonry delivered a terminal that will represent Prescott for generations.
